Alik, an ethnic Uzbek living in the slum chose the word «Нан» which means bread in Kyrgyz.
He is a baker and makes bread in an oven inside his house. His wife and his grandchildren then bring the bread to the city’s main market in a pram.
Bread was naturally the first word he could think of as it’s what keeps his family alive.
