We’re in Kathmandu, Nepal, for the 3rd episode of Share The Word. The first word we were given to paint is “Welcome”. The piece takes up 10 houses around a square in the slum of Bainsighat.

Kampung Bayur, Jakarta
Kampur Bayur is a low income neighbourhood of East Jakarta that gets heavily flooded every year during the rainy season. Spag and I have chosen to stick to this neighbourhood for our project so that we get to know the people and experience life in the Kampung from the inside. After a few weeks working here, we feel like we are part of the neighbourhood, and people cook for us as if we were family. Everyone knows our names and understand our project. They are all asking us to paint their walls!
