Cresent
“Cresent” (spelling varies) is an area of Mukuru Kayaba situated at the foot of large factory buildings.
Education
“Education” was the word chosen by the young men in charge of this “library”. Although this library only has very few books, it provides young people with place to sit down and study, their homes being too small.
Gracious
The word “gracious” was chosen by Mama Achy. This is the hair salon she works in.

This wall was painted on the house in which we lived during the project in Jakarta. The word “Harmony” was chosen by Kristianto, our host.
Pulang Basamo
Pulang Basamo means to “come together” and is what many muslim Indonesians do at the end of Ramadham, when they go back totheir village of origin.
