"We lived in Minembwe, South-Kivu (DR Congo) where we looked after cattle. I used to sell cows on the market and milk a few cows to feed the family. One day, in 2012, an armed group raided the village. They took all our posessions, our 100 cows and they killed my husband. I fled with my 6 children, and started a new life here in Uganda. I now have 2 grandchildren and all I can wish is for them to live in a world at peace. I would like you to paint the word "Amani" ("Peace" in Swahili).

At work with the team! I always travel with my friends/helpers on the episodes of "Share The Word Project". Dudu (left on the picture) is always with me and has become a master in the art of tracing patterns. Malek has been helping this last year in Niger, Palestine, France and here in Uganda, bringing extra energy to the project!
Dudu, Malek and I have been friends since we were teenagers in Caen, Normandy. We met at the local football stadium where Dudu taught me to make flags and banners. That's when I fell in love with drawing large letters!
