This wall was painted on the house in which we lived during the project in Jakarta. The word “Harmony” was chosen by Kristianto, our host.

Pulang Basamo

Pulang Basamo means to “come together” and is what many muslim Indonesians do at the end of Ramadham, when they go back totheir village of origin.

Kali Malang is the name of one of the rivers which flows alongside the neighbourhood of Kampung Bayur.

Merdeka means Freedom. It was chosen by May, the houswife who lives in this house with her two children and her husband.
